Trying Something New: 8932

Castles and towns dot the landscape of the Rhine Gorge, a 65 km (40 mi) section of the Rhine between Koblenz and Rüdesheim in Germany. It was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in June 2002 because of its beauty as a cultural landscape, its importance as a route of transport across Europe, and the unique adaptations of the buildings and terraces to the steep slopes of the gorge.

I haven’t had much to say lately (still don’t), and my usual advice when that’s that case is to just shut up. 😉 So I will, but that doesn’t stop me from posting a few photos.

A photographer I follow on Instagram occasionally posts “random photos from the archives.” I thought about how I might do the same, but on my blog, and came up with the idea of using a random number generator, searching Lightroom for file names containing each number, then choosing the best of each result to post on my blog. Not every photo will be great, and some will be better. We’ll see how it goes.

The first number that came up was 8932, and my catalog search brought up three. I chose this one to start us off.
