Actual Christmas in terms of decorations has been over for a week or so at the Dills home, but Kathy & I took a trek over to Asheville this past week to visit the last day of Christmas at the Biltmore Estate. I’m still working through the photos from our time there but came across a couple that I thought I would share right away. The guard at the Gate House told me that it was the last night for the lights, although it might take some time for the lights themselves to be removed. As you might imagine, it takes weeks to install them all, so it will probably take as long to remove them. All weather dependent, of course. We’ve been experiencing ridiculously mild weather lately….
We toured Biltmore House itself, but I haven’t gone through those photos yet. There will likely be a few sharable ones there, also…. 😉

We almost didn’t put up a tree this year, but our grandson insisted and came over to help. Made it a lot more fun! Kathy has a collection of Santas and Snowmen that we enjoy. But we don’t overdo it and it comes down soon after the holiday!
