
We happened upon this spot on our drive from Lake Placid to the Finger Lakes area of New York. Within minutes the breeze picked up and erased the reflections. A reminder to shoot what we see when we see it.

Wow, what a gift this is. I agree that we need to shoot when given the gift or our intuition whispers in our ear. It’s sometimes a matter of seconds before the scene is gone.

Yes! It was definitely an example of being in the right place at the right time. People who pulled in after us wondered what we had been looking at. Although without the previous scene to compare it to, it still looked pretty nice!
