Fun… I’ve always wanted to visit Marfa, both for the art and also because my dad went to military school in Roswell at New Mexico Military Academy.

Marfa is an interesting part of the country. Desolate surroundings but what appears to be pretty healthy arts community. All of the Judd Foundation facilities are currently closed, or we might have spent some time there. Nearby lodging is the trick, as we stayed in Alpine which is about an hour away.
We basically had lunch in Roswell, shot a few photos around town and stopped at the visitor center. Bought a pair of alien sunglasses for our grandson, which his mother will (unlikely) love. 🙂

Yes! When I saw this I just had to stop. A very fun display with lots of good humor, whatever you happen to believe (or not!).
