I found this guy clinging to a wall in San Juan, PR. No idea how he got there or how long he’ll last, but he certainly seemed out of place.

My favorite part is that it looks like the painter whitewashed over the plant, but the plant defiantly grew anyway… take that!

I wasn’t able to get close enough to tell for sure, but it looked like there may have been an earlier vine that had been cut away with the remaining part painted over. Persistence! And defiance!
