We started off our Route 66 adventure on Sunday with dinner at “Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner.” Homemade Root Beer and excellent burgers!

I’ve been there but didn’t eat, just took a photo or two. We have visited the visitor center across the street a few times.

The Visitor Center was closed but we took a few photos of that building and the train engine in the park across the street. I’m not exactly a root beer connoisseur but I did consider the root beer at the diner to be excellent.

I map it out in google maps and then do a cut out (shift-cmd-4 on a Mac) and paste it where I want it.
